When Steve and I get dropped off onto the ice on April 21st (or thereabouts!) we will immediately be starting to record data which will be sent back via the daily blog on this website. At present the data being recorded and sent back for analysis by various student groups is:

Lat and Long (GPS position)

Miles travelled in last 24hrs

Altitude

Temp. at 0800/1200/1800 hrs

Windchill

Waist measurement (once a day)

Time it takes to boil a set amount of water (every 3 days).
